Francis Duhay, Kahala’s CEO said “The ultimate vision is for people to employ both viral antigen and antibody testing at home.” The ADIONA Platform is currently under Clinical Investigation and Not Yet Approved By FDA. The COVID-19 IgG/IgM tests are not approved by FDA and are currently undergoing Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) review. I hope this vision becomes reality as it would be a great solution to our current lack of COVID19 testing. I’m sure the details of the platform are still being worked on but this is a step in the right direction. I’ll be following this partnership closely.
